Recently, my AC stopped blowing cool air.. and now is definitely not tha time to stop working.. LOL. It's like 90+ degree weather and it's VERY humid outside.
Like I have said in posts before, I am a novice when it comes to cars (repairs and/or customizing).. and I'm willing to learn.
Is there anything that I can do without having to go to a mechanic? I do not want this to get pricey.. and I'm hoping it's a simple problem to fix. Tha sooner I can fix this, tha better.

most likely an ac compressor body is leaking. so a mechanic would have to reclaim the R134A refigerant, then you could install a new compressor(super easy) then take it back to him and he can recharge it.

or be noooob and just release it to the atomosphere and walk away while it does that. refigerant will make you sick/kill you if you inhale alot of it

Or go to auto zone or another parts store and buy the refill kit that comes with the test gauge. It will be able to tell you if there is another problem or if it just needs to be recharged. It is only like $40.

the ac system never "just needs to be recharged" it's a closed system and should never leak.
