I'm sure this thread will be deleted or locked soon also, as it appears this place has turned into another clubgp.

My modding thread had DIFFERENT information than the "safely modding" thread. It was deleted because a few of the mods on this board felt it wasnt necessary, yet I received a ton of hits on it within the couple days it was up, and likes.

Now my thread asking where it went is being moved and locked, allowing the mods and their nutswingers to get their jabs at me in a thread before I can even respond to defend myself.

Great job grandprixforums.net.......................I can't believe the owner of this site has let it get to this point. The soul reason to create this forum was to move away from the strictly controlled ways of other community forums, and it is now turning into just that.

I'm so sorry guys. Everyone is so right around here, I will keep my opinions to myself unless they fall into line with everyone else's. I don't want to ruffle anymore feathers.

If you weren't a jackass about your opinions no one would have a problem with them.

Um wrong thought pattern right there. Nowhere does it state that different ideas or methods, opinions will not be tolerated.

Look at some of the threads from "noobs" thinking they can slap a 3.0 on in stock form. Do the people that respond negatively or even in a "jackass" manner get mistreated or warned for thier opinions? Ok so what about the ,"what do you think of these whatever" threads? Once again opinions are going to be dealt out, just because a response is'nt given by whoevers standards don't make it any less true to being a response none the less.

Clubgp has been getting bad ,i can agree with that opinion. Thats actually part of the reason i'm here.

I don't know the original poster, but I can understand his frustration. Idk how much time he put into his how to thread, but at least he tried to share some if not all that he himself has learned on this plattform.

    That is all.

Thanks Bob, my "how to" thread wasn't the best thread ever, and I had originally planned on expanding on it before it got deleted.

I haven't had any problems with the moderators on this forum, besides being told to tone it down a couple times. Instead of throwing your negativity against the forum into a public post, you can PM moderators and voice your opinions/frustration that way.

If you don't like the forum, noone is forcing you to be here, you're free to leave.

At least at clubgp you don't have mods going around deleting or editing your posts b/c they just don't like them................

And say what? They've made it very clear to me that they could care less what I have to say, in their eyes, my information is worthless, therefore deleted.

Thanks for pointing out that I'm not forced to be here, appreciate that. But unfortunately I've donated towards the cause of this forum because I thought things would be different around here.............I suppose not.

Thanks for the underlined and colored font, if you hadn't have changed it, I don't think I would have gotten the point.

Nor do you "have to be here" to defend the moderators, right?

But,you openly chose to click into this thread and voice yer um....wait for it..

OPINION! Yup there it is and weather or not I agree with or detest it to the point of loathing, its your right. Your opinion did zero to help gpf people with vehicle mods, problems with vehicles or anything of the sort but,his how to thread did right? At least in some way shape or form his was helping. Was your opinion/post helpful in any way?

Have a good one there guy.

His suggestion was helpfull to the community, in my...wait for it...opinion. Whether or not I agree with cop's modding thread getting deleted, I do agree that making multiple threads complaining about the issue, just to see them get closed or deleted, isn't helping anyone. Better to discuss this with the mods/admin in private, then to have at the mods in public. You're complaining about his post not being helpfull, how was your's any different? People's opinions are only as usefull as the reader wants them to be, that being the case, your quoted remarks are no different then mine, his, or anybody else's.

You seem like you can be a nice guy OP, but your opinions can come off as rather harsh and aggresive. I speak in reference to the safely modding thread.

Honestly no point in having 2 of the same stickies. Only thread I see worth making along the lines of safely modding is what mods you need to go down pulley size by size. Like say start at 3.6 down to like 3.25. I know thats always big questions in my head and what combos would be good/safe. Like with a 3.6 more of a timing tune do sumthin like that. Try that instead and see where that gets you.

Never read your original modding thread tho so maybe you did do that. Either way its a forum theres mods for a reason man. PS your kinda soundin a lil pissy pants. Just sayin

I have no problem with moderators deleting posts or threads that are derogatory, or moving them so they might be easier to find. I didn't get to read the thread in question so I don't know what it contained. If it were informational as portrayed, then I have a big beef about moderators deciding whether or not the information is invalid. Let the community decide. Most of us here are mature adults and can decide whether or not to take the information with a grain of salt. I don't typically follow one thread per say, but rather looking at all pertinent information and going from there.

All the thread said was "you wont know what pulley to run unless you scan".

And "there is no safely modding, more power, less life from the motor."

Matt is correct, more a few more words, that was all that was said in the thread. It's not the point though that it was short, it's the point that it was deleted. Un-sticky it then, I dunno, but why delete it!?

My opinions come off harsh and aggresive in that thread for a reason. I was put under attack when I hinted at the fact that their was an alternate way of doing things...

That being said, it is what it is. It's not worth getting overly upset about. I will continue to post my opinions or recommendations no matter how many peopel disagree with them.

Anyone in NY willing to give this guy a hug? Its still a great forum man. Sarcasm helps the day go by. If your thread is what Matt said then yes pointless. Im all for them deleting worthless threads to clear up the clutter its getting a little hard to search on here somtimes because of it. Do a summer cleaning mods. On that note Im done fueling the fire. I still vote for a what mods and setups are good for what pulley sticky.

The original thread was pointless and every thread complaining about its deletion since has been pointless. Stop acting like a child and grow up.

It's pointless to continue this............there is always going to be an overwhelming majority of people agreeing with the mods, just because.

This is how the internet works............ everyone who supports me, thank you.

Now, let's see if this works:

    Mods, please delete this thread.
