Your 98 should only be passkey2(chip inside cylinder) and not PK3(chip inside key) so you should be able to go into the dealer and get a key for under 20 dollars cut according to VIN number.
I think it was 2000 or around then that they got PK3.

They want $65 which isn't too bad when you're thinkin $140 at the beginning
