    They took the stock one and cut a hole in it for the tweets he had.

    Isn't it better to have the tweets in the stock location, at or near ear level?

    haha umm... the ones they sell at walmart
    they were cheap and still have too much bass for the door. the mid range is decent in my opinion. but like i said, hook the tweeters back up. the speaker sits too low and everything gets drowned out

    yea no, i wasnt gunna even touch the tweeters, the main door speakers are just rattly so they gotta go

    It'll sound better and get louder.

    If you dont care about that then go with the 5.25's. It'll be slightly louder than stock but not much.

    yeah, mine were blown out too, i just got a cheap set. the reason i say to make sure to hook your tweeters back up is because you'll have to cut the wiring clip off re-tie and solder the tweeter wires to the other leads on your new speakers. i didn't do it at first, but ended up going back and doing it.
