    Im geting ready to put an intake and headders on my 97 GTP. Is it fine for the computer to be out of the intake box and in the open. I would hate to fry it.

    yes its fine.. Most people zip/bungie it down or you can get the 90's S10 PCM tray if you want to spend the money. Your not going to fry it.

    They are designed to be durable as it's in an automotive application. Don't not hold while getting struck by lightning, and it'll be fine.
