so i noticed the other day that my left headlight is way unaligned. i decided to try adjusting it. when i started to turn the tork bolt or whatever its calld, it strips badly. i dont know what to do know, is there any thing else i can use?

This is a really good question because I have the same issue. I HATE torx.

as far as the stripped torx try some WD40 or better PB Blaster and tap the ends of the horizontal threaded rods with a plastic mallet. That may free them up enough to turn with pliers and make the adjusters work.

Well, you shouldn't have done that without the correct tool. They make them out of brass too so they strip real easy if you try to use plyers or something. If you stripped it out, you are in trouble dude, sorry. The manufacturers do that to keep people away from adjusting headlights that don't know what their doing and end up blinding everyone on the road with low beams. Do not adjust your headlights yourself unless you at least try to learn to do it properly. Torx socket tools are used much more on imports.
