VERY easy to test a sub.

Hook a 9V battery up to its terminals and see if it does anything.

Should move one way with one polarity and the opposite with reversed polarity.

Then theres the cone push test and a visual inspection of the suspension components.

Are you positive the sub is "blown"? Most people think if it doesnt work then its a goner even if its just disconnected as stated above.

so did you try hooking it back up? my connection that was off was a wire that was on the speaker itself not the one from the speaker that connects to the box

Oh yeah I reconnected everything made sure all my wires were good and secured. When I hooked up both the same thing happened to the amp. Took off the sub that was barely moving and it started to work again. Turned the amp all the way up and turn up the bass at the HU as well and it never once cut out. It was FAR above when it use to cut out. One of the subs when I had them out I was just pressing down on the cone and one sent fine and the other made this weezing noise. I visually inspected the differences between the two and couldn't find any. I honestly am not that hurt that it went, I have no issue replacing the subs. If anyone has other subs in my price range (2 of them or one massive one that will work with my amp) please post that up as I'll get that instead.
