I've been looking at this car for sale on Ebay. It's the 2000 Daytona GTP listing #160416695189.
And the spoiler looks like the run of the mill GP spoiler.
Didn't all the 2000 Daytona model's come with the same unique custom spoiler?
Any help on this would be appreciated.
I couldn't upload a picture because it was to big....

Do you think someone put a different spoiler on it? This car comes with the original dealer window sticker so I know it's a real daytona. I think someone along the way put a different (the ubiquitous GP spoiler) on it.
Sorry, here's the link: Pontiac : Grand Prix : eBay Motors (item 160416695189 end time Mar-28-10 19:30:00 PDT)

id say you have a winner with the exception of 2 things i see. the only difference is the front bumper should be 2 tone as is on mine as well as the spoiler. it seems the trunk and bumper were replaced with regular gp parts... other than that its a winner.

That makes perfect sense. I would have never thought of that. They must have replaced it (the trunk lid and spoiler) because of an accident or some type of damage. The front bumper, if i'm not mistaken should have the bottom of the intakes painted gray. I can get the Daytona spoiler from an aftermarket Co. for about $300.00 shipped. Do you think it would be worth it to buy the spoiler and then have the body shop (i use Abra) to fill in the holes and repaint the lid and new spoiler? Thank's a ton, This clarifies the doubts I was having.

That car has been in an accident. The reason that bumper is all one color is because where they took it to be painted sprayed it all one color. You can tell it's been replaced because I've been in an accident and when they replaced the front they gave me the same front end. That front end DOES NOT have a Pontiac Emblem in the front. THAT is the biggest give away. I'd be careful.. who knows why the trunk spoiler is different. Probably been hit back there too.

Duhh, on my part. I didn't notice the missing Pontiac emblem. There's red flags going up all over the place. The auction ends Sunday so i'll have time to think this one over. They have this car listed on Craigslist for $9000.00 in the Kansas city listings. I don't think the body shop did their homework on this....

If you guys look at the picture with the big list of what came on the car it says at the top is a replica package of the daytona car. So it was really never a real Daytona car in the first place.

Speaking of the 500 stickers, can you buy them somewhere or at the dealership for those car's that don't have them? I've seen a few for sale that don't have the stickers...
