    David you need to replace that one thats broken. Because over time the injector could wiggle around and come un seated that clip that broke off also helps hold the injector in its seat to keep a tight seal in the rail

    Could you just run two -rings? cause that part looks like roughly the same size as the o-ring..... Just an Idea

    With the rails in place I don't see how there would be any movement.

    It would be helpful here, if you merely suggest that this could be an issue. stating this as fact is irresponsible. We understand your concern. However, if you look at all of the different type of injectors available for these motors, pretty much NONE of them have the same style or size body/clip/ANYTHING past the O-Ring. some are similar to the OE clip part that broke. most look noting like it, smaller even. so that missing part is not going to affect how the injector holds in it's bore-- if it did, every other injector would be made exactly the same way. -- the fuel rail holds the injector in place, the O-ring seals it.
