So last night i was messing around at the mall with my friends, and we were walking out to the parking, and we saw this kid and his girlfriend walking up to his red 95-99 eclipes one of those years, anyways my friend yells at him u wanna race, and he says wat r u driving, and my friend says that my friend has a gtp, and the kid said sure. when we pull up to his car in the parking lot we asked him wat he has, he said its a regular gs which is non turbo and front wheel drive, and he said he has a turbo put into it and an intercooler, and my friend ask him if he has nos and the kid looks down and looks back up and says nope, i should of asked wat size turbo too. So anyways we get on the highway and we pull up to eachother and i say on the third honk we go, well the ****ty thing is it was ****ty and snowing alittle bit out, and on my side of the road it was all ice so when we took off i spined my tires on the ice and the hud went up to 110 spinning the tires, and then i got off of the ice and i was realing him in but not good enough, anyways my friends said that they saw flames come out of the exhust and they think it did that cause he was using nos but im not sure.

I dont know if you are joking or being serious. but. all turbo cars shoot flames. it is because of unburned fuel present in the exhaust. he was more than likely shfting...or downshifting...keeping the revs up.

please prenounce it nitrous. N.O.S. is a brand o nitrous system.

we have one of those up here. has a basic Hahns kit on it. basilcy it brings a low 16sec car to a low 15/high 14sec car.

Nitrous Ox Side? NOS for short? Is that really rice or only rice because we, those that would never install a larger wing, lower a car too low, run 20" wheels, have an open cone intake, say it is?

I really need to have my first cup of coffee before reading forum posts.

NOS is a registered trademark so it should be nitrous

Kleenex is a registered trademark, but most of us use the term for all facial tissue.
I was kidding about the Ox Side.. Without being real familiar with it I would assume it was Nitrous Oxide System...but I've assumed wrong before

And I bet you call an adjustable wrench a Crescent wrench "Crescent" is the brand name or tounge and groove pliers Channel locks. Channel lock is the brand name. Or how about that copier that is affectionately refered to as the Xerox. I have no heartburn when some one refers to a Nitrous Oxide set up as NOS.

Why race when the roads are slick? That's just plain...

Only thing that sucks in trying to race in these conditions is as soon as your tires stop slipping and catch a good surface, your tranny takes a big hit.
