well guys after 3 days of scratching my head on getting the alpine 9887 to work, I finally had to take it to the professionals. turns out, they said my factory amps weren't doing anything sooo they trashed out my harness and straight wired into the pontiac wirings. labor was alil costly but I got my alpine 6x9's , 6.5's and 1" modded kicker tweets all in myself and thanks to Xtreme Soundz, my alpine HU works great must say she sounds AWESOME. Clean Clear Music !! I just dont have alot of juice pumpin into her .... I need a AMP !!! i'll post pics of the modded tweets into the door. I didnt want to cut the factory door panel, we'll u guys will see in a few hours after I post pics. Now the babys asleep, I can go play with my new system

heres a pic of the way I modded my kicker tweets, since the hole wassss way smaller than normal and I didnt wanna cut on my plastic door panal. I can get pics of the 6x9s and 6.5s but really not necc. The tweets actually stick out but i'm happy with it. atleast u kno its aftermarket lol

i'm fine with them sticking out, I had a few options and figured I'd be happiest with this setup - just in case I ever wanna use factory tweets or some that fit in the factory holes. and no trimming on those kicker tweets the whole frame of the tweet is pure metal, heavy as hell too. those r like "retainters" around the tweeter, like a plastic casing that came in the box. the 6.5s fit right in with alil pressure of the screws to adjust it right, no modding needed for housing. the 6x9's however had to file the inside of the factory 6x9 housing to get them to fall in correct.

i love having my aftermarket speakers, my car is a rusted POS for now, but the sound system is GREAT! lol

i kept mine concealed under the stock covers etc. i kinda like the idea of not seeing it, i mean i have a visable HU when the deck is in. i just couldnt live with a tape player anymore.
