    no its not safe for your DRLS to be on cuz they run at a lower wattage during the day then they do at night and thats what burns the HIDS up just keep the cloth over the diode or just turn your light off before you start your car every time

    you are completely WRONG
    on the 04 and up grand prix there is no change in wattage or voltage from the BCM , the headlights are turned on by the BCM whenever DRL's are required. other GM models do use a lower voltage or duty cycle, but I've had my kit for a while with no problems. I was originally worried about this too, however so far so good.

    well i was just going off what some one had said on this forum that had looked into this awhile back.
