    Great. Another $40. I was afraid of that. It rests fine. It just keeps getting loose and flying off the windshield.

    The tab is on the top of the plate that the motor bolts too. Its a HARD metal Tab about 1 cm wide by 2 cm tall. I had to bend mine back with a hammer and punch. What this does is the parking mechanism on the top of your wiper motor hits this and causes the motor to park you wipers. When its bent it will not catch causing your wipers to do strange and weird things like park in the upright position. I used to have pictures of this but i must have deleted them.

    yeah mine did that...


    i was worried that the splines on the stud were bad, but the end of the arm is fairly soft aluminum, from the looks of it, probably meant that way to A) conform to the splined shaft, and B) if one of them strips, it's likely to be the arm.... so after getting a new arm and tightening it down GOOD it hasnt been a problem since. -- though a bit of thread lock on the nut might not hurt.
