I'm preparing to replace my 2001 GP GT's engine and transmission mounts.

    How many mounts are there?
    I'm aware of:

-The dog bones (P/N 2866) (Mine are fine, so not planning to replace these.)

-The dog bone brackets (P/N 5309). (Mine are fine, so not planning to replace these.)

-The weird sometimes-hydraulic mount under the engine on the passenger side, that sits in the subframe, (P/N 2796).

-The mount under the transmission on the driver side, (P/N 2712).

Are there others that I'm missing?

    thats all of em.

you can replace the strut mounts bushings with polly if you like, the rounds and squares.

Somewhere on here there is a thread detailing how to change a hydraulic engine mount into a solid mount. Basically drill some holes in the hydraulic mount and drain out the fluid, buy a tube of window urethane and fill the mount with it, I am not sure how long these last though.

Some of those are "solid" mounts filled with fluid.

I have an engine mount that I modified, so it's filled with polyurethane instead of fluid, I am asking 50 for it

My 11-year-old son and I knocked these out today in about two hours from start to finish. It was pretty easy. Getting the engine to line up with the passenger side mount when lowering it back down was a little tricky, but we got it lined up after about the fifth try. IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT. The horrible vibration and shuddering I had on acceleration after having the torque converter replaced is almost completely gone. The old mounts didn't actually look that bad. The transaxle mount looked in worse shape, with dry-rotted rubber.

Also: 15mm offset wrench makes this job possible. Got a metric set of offset wrenches at Harbor Freight for $16.
