So I had talked to you guys about having 0 KR with a 3.4 pulley and I was debating on getting a 3.3 to throw on you guys said it's safe the maf will adjust it. Well I just got my 3.3 today and went for a drive it's warm today like almost 80 and that's about as hot as it gets here my question is how long does it take for the maf to adjust? It was weird because I hammered on it and got a blip of .4 and .9 right off the bat then back to 0 real quick then I couldn't get it to register anymore kr after that and I drove around for a while hammering on it. I was at about 6psi to 7psi of boost on the 3.4 I'm running about 8psi now with the 3.3.

The MAF doesn't auto adjust to a boost pressure change, not sure who said that to you.

Anything under 1º of knock is something I wouldn't even bat an eye at.

Okay a couple guys on here said it'll adjust from a .1 of a pulley drop I had a thread on it. Why do you think I had a blip of .4 and .9 from the first time I got on it? Then nothing after that kinda weird I was wondering if the computer was compensating for the air change from the .1 pulley drop? I have 15° of timing it's a can tune form zzp is that a decent amount?

you need to tune the maf if need be for a smaller pulley, 3.4 to a 3.3 should be ok. check your fuel trims and wide band if you got one to make sure its all in range still.

    its not gonna self learn.

How come? I don't know if it's worth it, it runs good the way it is.

I didn't know how ignorant I was until I started tuning, and I don't even tune much. about all I can do is a maf adjustment and mess with timing advance. the more you learn, the more you see how little you really know.

    Tuning will really help you.

How much would you want? What can't it do that the upgraded one does? Can you use a tablet for the dhp? I just don't wanna F anything up and everyone tells me it's safe the way it is and I probably will hardly notice a difference once it's tuned so unless I intercool and drop more pulleys what's the point?

So if I only got a blip of .4 and .9 of kr once at about the same time should I leave the 3.3? How much kr is to much? Everyone says something different lol so anytime I've ever had kr is a quick blip I've never had it hold at a certain number is that normal?

the new one i got has a wideband port, the old one does not.

if you mod a tuner is like a mod. if it will take more timing you can add to it, if the fuel trims go lean you can add fuel, and canned tunes blow.

when you take a scan and adjust via the scan things turn up much better.

So do you think it'd run alot better with a tune? I just don't know enough to mess with it myself and I don't really know anyone that does stuff like this.
