Yea it was a good build until you blew the motor like a week after that. And quit the bs, you know that I told you that you would blow this one too. Always claiming you racing Coyotes and SRTs. But I'm the sucka. Betta check to see if anything else is wrong with that motor before you try to put it back in the Impala and kill yourself

we all know the piston top matches the head. who the f ucks he kidding with its fine. and it ran ok. ok as in ok for 5 cylinders?

and how do you pull a head and not roll it over asap to see a missing valve bottom?

im with bill. you had to know it was f ed up, and your trying to save face. its just another blown engine. own up to it.

That head is effed up beyond help. That was making one hell of a racket because you were running on 5 cylinders with the valve head bonking around in the cylinder for what appears to be a very long time. Everyone in a car near you heard it, felt it, saw the unburned crap coming out of the cylinder. FYI, now I'm thinking you are deaf, dumb and blind.

Nope, they will tell him to start over. Know the funny thing... he was following your "no ic" advice. Damn...we should consider this your fault and that would make two engines in two months... lol

Anyone that has ever worked on an engine knows that piston and cylinder are fubared. Hence no picture. He "was just gonna replace a used head gasket" for no apparent reason.

I call BS from the beginning. Own up to it Jay.. because right now we all think you are a deaf, dumb, blind lyin mofo.
Bullsh1t Bill dont be chucking me under the fvcking bus my car runs on e85 and had been dyno tuned for it with the s1x cam.

Jays car can'd tune for xp setup and e85. Jay running an xpz cam and ill bet a bone stock pcm since this was in his impala not the grand prix..... I highly doubt he switched tunes considering he cant just yank the xp one from the grand prix and stick it in the impala with the XPZ cam.

Cmon Bill you know better dont be trashing my name you know damn well tlhis engine would not have looked like this if he had a PROPER damn e85 tune for the xpz cam Interfailer or not that has zero to do with why it blew so saying its my advice is complete bullsh1t.

xpz cam, god knows what pulley, likely stock impala pcm and likely piss gas pump gas isnt going to end pretty as the pics of the engine show.......

What pulley, what gas, STILL canned tune? What intercooler?

    http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...erys!!!/page33

That engine looks like it has ZERO intercooler on it and a 2.8 pulley on a gen5. Engine sure looks all pretty painted up but seems to me that car was likely on a 2.8 with NO intercooler running a CANNED tune on piss gas pump gas.

"I had a zzp xpz cam 60# lq4 1.0 pcm tune does that help? With a fs intercooler? Lol"

What no mention of E85 here? You had to have known that pulley was too small for an XPZ cam and a Canned tune, now your saying it was intercooled where? Or more saving face? The pic in post # 646 is the most recent engine pic I could find in your build thread......

Cmon Jay might need some makeup for this cover up........

right so now that maybe we can cut through the bullsh1t im wondering why you never put the car on e85 if you were switching from a xp cam to a bigger xpz cam? especially with out using my most hated mod an a2w interfailer lol.

i feel bad for you and i got a feeling you knew better, but said nah fvck it and ended up blowing it up and i hate it for ya when it could have been prevented.

seriously you can put these engines in until your blue in the face and i dont care what cam combo you use but for christ sakes man please for the love of god stop using canned tunes!!!!

That was more directed at this thread in general. Tyler I'm not holding a grudge, it's water under the bridge.... But I'm not sure I would want you working on my car...... At least without having an FSM open to the page you were working on. :P

Tyler.. I'm just joking around about the IC stuff. Because you hate IC's so much.

Jay..I apologize man. Whole heartedly, your question was if the spring could be reused and the answer to the question is that I would reuse that spring. The spring itself apears to be perfectly good.

As for reusing a HG, I would never suggest doing so.

As for not hearing or feeling it, I truly can not believe that you could not tell by how it was running. Dude it was running on 5 cylinders based on the picture of the spark plug.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
