I have a completely stock 2000 GTP and understand their is a LOT of room to make more power. I've been wondering what the smallest belt I can use on a stock 3.8 SC that will give me more boost but won't hurt or damage the engine. I use my car as a daily driver and also commute a lot. I just want a bit more of that Pontiac excitement especially when im getting onto the highway.

A smaller belt won't spin the supercharger faster, the speed of the supercharger comes from the size of the pulley on the snout.

And running a 3.4 pulley on a stock motor with no mods whatsoever is just asking it to grenade.

Didn't realize asking a simple question meant people would be such douche bags.

The Fiero Forums is definitely 10X better.

being your likely in elevation there lol you could maybe run a 3.5 or 3.6 safely. but if you come back down to the thicker air it maybe a issue with KR.
