id pull the back seats out, then shut the trunk/doors and have some one run a hose over the car, start low and work your way up with the hose till you see water inside the car/trunk. take the trunk liner out too, not much holds it in.

some how i bet your car smells rather bad of mildew, if so you can pull the whole rug, lay it out and buy a 5 lb box of baking soda, then dump it on the rug, top and bottom, rub it in good and let it sit a few days, then after its dry beat the baking soda out, then use a shop vac to remove the rest, ( dont use you home vacuum the bs will kill it) then rent or use a home carpet shampooer to clean it up. ( while its out of the car still. its much easier)
