i got a 1999 grand prix se. just bought a brand new headlight assembly for both passenger and driver side. my passenger headlight comes on but my driver one dont, i switched the bulbs around to see if it was a bulb and its not. my next guess is either a loose connection or bad wires or a bad ground? anyone got any ideas?

the sockets do go bad. look inside for a broken metal clip in the bottom.

also unplug the head light, clean the socket and plug, work it on and off a few times, see if it works.

next step is to test for power at the light socket, if you come up with nothing test the plug for the head light. if its still dead un wrap the wire loom and follow the wires back looking for damage.
