The gauge reads 14.7 just like the picture shows. For those of you who have one, what should I be seeing when the sensor is functioning? How is the air/fuel mixture adjusted anyway?
If you look through the mass of hoses and wires, you'll see the factory o2 sensor. I plan on mounting the wideband fairly close to it. Any problem with that?
Why do I feel like I'm talking to myself?
I just got a dp and the wideband bung hole is on the dp. Idk if that helps or not, but I see no one is responding... sorry

The gauge doesnt adjust anything, it's only there to monitor the air to fuel ratio. A very important gauge with modded cars.
Stoich is 14.7, when it's in the exhaust with the vehicle running it will bounce around 14.7ish all the time at idle and under normal load. When you step on it, it will creep lower and lower to a some numbers. Likely you want to see 10.5 to 11.5ish for a boosted vehicle, that means it's running a tad rich but still sorta safe.
Read up on widebands to get more info on how they work.
As per AEM, you want the wideband o2 sensor 36" downstream from the turbo. Though I'm supercharged, I just had mine welded into the downpipe on the headers.
If the sensor isn't hooked up, the gauge will show 14.7 all the time.
With the sensor hooked up, you should be between 10.5-16.0 or so all the time. Cold idle with my 42's shows around 10.5, and gradually warms up to a 14.5-15.0. Cruising is similar around 13.5-15.0. WOT drops down to 11.0ish.
Thanks guys. Now I know what to look for. Having a bit of a space issue getting it mounted. But, I'll get it in there!
