A question for the aftermarket turbo guys. I found the vac line that controls the vents in the HVAC system cut inside the engine compartment.
I need to tie in to a vac line. Where can I do that?

Now how did I miss that? Must have been all the celebrating ............TERRIBLE game.......
I did check that drawing out.....I think something is missing on the engine.....I'll check again this evening......
OK, stupid question, I see you use the n/a thing but STILL don't know what it means. Non applicable?
Hmmm, that's what my WIFE calls me.......BWAAAAAAAAAA! Thanks.
see the hole in the pic. lower left side. then in the parts you see that part with a fat hose port, and a small one, the that part goes onto that hole, and you use the small port to the hvac line.

Thank you sir. I'll be tapping into it tonight!
Dang Scottydogs! You DA MAN! I bought a few fittings, a "T" and some new vac hose.
Stuck the plastic adapter in the vac hose under the fuse box.
Ran the new vac hose to the spot on the manifold you suggested. It wasn't capped off. It had the boost gauge line connected to it. So, I cut a small piece of vac hose and put another "T" there. Hooked the vac line to it and now the airflow changes like it's supposed to.
Dang I'm glad I found this forum...........Thanks again!
glad to hear its working right now, one more bug has been bitten back on this car.
i see you got the pep boys / auto zone huge ass T. i got one as junk now. to big and bulky. i got the small T's from advance auto, much nicer to work with, and they disappear with the lines on. and you get 2 for 2 bucks, vs 3 iirc for that large hunk o junk T.
theres a t under the snout, and on the fuel rail there, nice and small.

You are sooooo right.....I bought that "T" and I knew it was going to be too bulky. I'm going to return it to Oreillys and get the smaller one tomorrow.
BTW, the final score was 43 to 8 ............wah wah........
thanks for this thread, I now know where to look when I go searching for a cut vacuum line...HVAC problems -_-
Got rid of the "Hugh Jass" "T" much better............
