Well, things did not go so according to plan today. After doing some WOT runs, my AFR kept going from mid-11's to almost a 13.0 come shift point, meaning the car was losing pressure somehow. No KR until 3rd gear on 18* timing however.. I was totally baffled by this, so we popped the hood and Nick spotted a HUGE kink in the feeding fuel line. The kink was so bad we initially thought the line needed to be replaced. I ended up driving it back home, then popped the kink out with some pliers in under two min LOL. I then did some WOT pulls and the AFR is much more consistent now, however it is still leaning out to about a 12.3-12.4 after 6000rpms. So all in all at least ONE problem was resolved... Now I need to figure out why the AFR is still leaning out a bit. I know mid-12's isn't too bad, I just don't want to give it a more aggressive tune until I figure this out. The car has a racetronix fuel pump/rewire, flex fuel filter from an 04 Mercury Tahoe, and Seimens 65# injectors. Pretty sure I have all the hi-flow fuel needs, which leads me to believe the car is still losing pressure somehow from another kink somewhere or something alike. The tune is safe for now though... Stock timing, however still feels faster than when on 93![]()
