2002 Grand Prix gt DRL disable completely?

I want to completely disable my DRL I tried removing the fuse but received loud ticking noises when done. Any other ways?

Try unplugging the heatsink behind the headlight switch.

Yes, on the '02's, you must unplug the DRL diode, or put a switch on its blue wire.
