You could put it in the rubber coupler portion cut a a small x and press the iat in.
U guys are over thinking CAI's & HAI's
straight rustolium. i did sand the pvc with 100 grit sand paper and took a knife to the mold seams to smooth the outside of the pvc.
then hung it with a string and a pencil, then sprayed it with many light coats waiting 10 minutes in between coats. first coat was nothing more then a dusting, more of a tack coat.
Has any one else been having trouble with there intakes staying on the pvc? I have tighten and tighten and tighten the crap out of the clamp, I have even changed the clamp, but it always manages to come off. Any solutions out there?

mine fell off a few times, then it just stopped falling off. im still using the crappy clamps that came with the coupler too. seems like it need a bunch of heat cycles till it stay put.
It's been like a year and it still wiggles off! I'm so fed up with it I'm putting the stock setup back in. Plus ever since I put the open filter on my car sounds like a 4x4 when it slows down, u know that roaring sound 4x4 tires make?

No its not super charged, and honestly, Idk if I got my tires before or after I did my intake. At first I thought was my brakes, but I don't have to hit my brakes to hear it, and it's only at very low speeds or when I'm slowing down.

I have an idea.... Buy a real intake and it won't fall off.... Imagine that!![]()
