There's no reason for confusion, unless current/previous GP owners are easily confused. What other site are you on that's car specific that allows other vehicles in their car of the month contests? As to people with all kinds of cars being on here, that doesn't really have any bearing on the topic at hand. People can join any car site because they're a fan of that car. Owning one is not a prerequisite. For example, despite never owning one, I'm on the Bonneville Club because I've always loved those, LeSabre T-Type forum because I love those, etc, but I don't plan on entering my GPs or 6000s (when I had them) in a car of the month contest on those sites. Likewise, I plan to still be on here when I ditch my GTP shortly. And while I may talk about what I got to replace it in the "other cars" section, by no means would I be interested in entering it in a car of the month contest on here given there's a 99% chance it won't be a w-body, let alone a GP. Doing so would seem weird, fuked up and nonsensical to me.
I guess I just don't understand the fascination and need for people to bring attention to their non-GP cars in this manner when there are plenty of sites dedicated TO those cars. The thought of doing so even popping into someone's head is weird to me. There's an even wider spectrum of cars on w-body.com, yet never once has the idea of someone entering something other than a w-body in the car of the month contest crossed someone's mind, not because they're "closed-minded", but because *it doesn't make sense*. So why is this such an issue for current/previous GP owners?
