Is this still happening or is it going to turn out like my attempt at a Chicagoland meet two years back?

Hmm I need to get away for the weekend, I should drive out there.
since weather is ****ty i doubt well be doing much standing around outside. last meet lasted all the way till 7pm (we left fuddruckers at 5:30ish), so if anyone is running late we should still be there.
Northern Il folks - I was at the meet on Saturday. Thought I'd say hi, and also - what the heck, might as well ask. Just got back from a funeral, and I'm taking advantage of a mild day to try to do both lower control arms and my rear subframe bushings on my '03 GTP. (I have the white one that was at the meet.) If anyone is off today and interested in giving me a hand, I live in Winfield. Look up 60190. I'd happy to get you a case of whatever beer you like, feed you dinner, whatever.

Go learn together it shouldn't be a bad job
So, I started the job today, got the LCAs off and the bushings. Can't get the new bushings on! The bottom half is recessed and the part on top of the subframe has a protrusion. The two parts nest together and the bolt goes through them up into the chassis. I've worked until I was frozen in the dark between trying jack the subframe up slightly to trying to compress the halves together within a jack. Finally had to give up until morning. Now I'm kind of in trouble. Need to get to work for at least some of tomorrow.
The good news is that I have everything jacked up and supported properly so I'm safe fooling around under there.
Bad news is snow later tomorrow.
I'd pay someone to come help finish it up, but hate to start with Craigslist all over again.
Hi, GP. Thanks for asking. I missed two days of work, but I got it done. Doing it in the snow was torture! I think I will take it tomorrow to get all the torques checked and maybe alignment, but the clunk is gone.
cheers
