ok so im doing a meet in the wisconsin dells may 17th, 18th and 19th. for those who dont know about the dells its the waterpark capital of the world. its 3 towns that make up the area. tons of things to do lots of hotels. im trying to get ideas on what people will want to do. there is a big car show going on at noah's ark which is the largest waterpark in america. there is suppose to be 1200 cars unfortunatly its only for 1989 or older cars. well im open to suggestions brandon and i were talking about finding a close racetrack to go mess around at. 7PM: Parking Lot Meet & Greet BBQ (Might need to make sure this is allowed before we get carried away with the idea.)
10PM: Cosmic Bowling at Knucklehead's (Close at Midnight)
12PM: Hotel Beverage Consumption and Cougar Hunting Expedition

Saturday May 18th 2012
10AM: Breakfast at Paul Bunyans Cook Shanty (All you can eat breakfast buffet until noon)
Noon: Car Show
3PM:gpf meet parking lot of mt olympus by the upside down white house
5PM: Eats
7PM: Edge O' Dells Burnout Contest
10PM: Hotel Beverage Consumption and Cougar Hunting Expedition


Sunday May 19th 2012
10AM: Farewell Breakfast to those that are leaving
NOON: 92 Holes of Mini-Golf
3PM: Go Karts
4PM: Cruise
6PM: Eats
7PM: Hotel Things

Sub'd. Dells is only 10 hours (only, right?) and I'd be down depending on the activities. Glad to assist if it turns into a thing

its like 2.5 for me but its a nice ride thru the back roads. there is a lot to do there is one place that has 97 holes of mini golf

I mean I'd like to find a track, but 2.5 hours or whatever you said to a track that's a bit of a drive... BUT if there's an interest in making a huge cruise out of it and convoying and taking pics and all that shenanigans and making a day of it at the track, MIGHT be worth it. Again, just tryin to shoot ideas out there

first day meet at the dells second day drive to the drag strip?

ok so im thinking meet by day and terrorize the town by night. im just saying meet during the day to give people a chance to come either day if they cant make it on one day

Its not just a GP meet Btown, there was a little of everything.

I went last year and had a good time. I got cited for "Illegally riding on vehicle", and played all 97 holes of mini golf. The car show itself is one of the biggest I've been to, with a ton of variety. The burnout contest was kind of lame though.

None of the GP folk really wanted to have an organized meet last year, but I got a chance to meet a couple people. If we got organized and got some people together, it would be more fun. The hotel I was at last year had a bunch of empty rooms and was pretty cheap, I'll have to figure out where it was again.

Thank you. I really wanna get it going i love goin to the dells i try to go a few times a year. I thought about just drivig up there and scoping everything out. Its only 2.5 hours away for me so its not a big deal

If I don't have anything going on those days I would probably come to this. Would be fun to participate. I think last years was my night of graduation and the day after or something. lol.

if it's during automotion i should probably come out. i've been meaning to make it during that for a while.

automotion is june 8th and 9th and thats when i planned on doing this meet

Are you sure, because the last 2 years I went it was held May 17-18th

If you go, let me know and I'll take the $5 bus to chicago and you can pick me up there so you have a passenger the rest of the way. lol

and the issue with doing it in may is that michigan meet is in may, with far more people going.

Michigan meet...?
