Well, hope you find something. I'd think if you swapped the valve body and chain then you'd have another comp G trans.

I'm going to hit the season opener in RI, every year at Colt State Park 1st weekend of May there is a huge meet. Going to that this coming year.
I'll see it at Bill's for the trans build/swap.
I have 04 Saab I'm bringing
My GP will be at my dad's. It's a 97. I think you'd be the only 04+ unless Swiggles brings his GF's car.
$700 Tranny in NY about 180 miles from me...68,000 miles on it, was hoping for less than 40,000 miles if I'm going used.
ah well...
lmao...or stopping being a pansy and go 6 speed.
I drive the car 2,000 miles a year, I will be going lower in time; I don't break trannies on purpose, I don't do 4-2/3-1 shifts, I don't do burnouts. Not too mention I've seen guys with built trannies still break. I see it as a waste honestly. Bill put in that trans go shift kit and I have to say, my tranny is far better now then it was before. These trannies will always be a weak link in this car...no matter what you do.
I probably could throw in a used unit and get the next 10 years on it because I'm only put 20,000-30,000 miles on it. So I see no reason to waste the money, car isn't meant for drag.
6 speed FTW. Get with the program.
LOL, I have a 5 speed car...and it works too
So get a 6 speed one.
I also want a house and blowing $2,500 on a built unit isn't feasible.
