I wouldn' t worry too much about that. I have heard comments at all shows at one time or another positive /negative about cars. Never fails some wannabee who doesn't even have a model car let alone a real car will comment out loud. Just overlook these type of folks. It doesn't matter to me if the car nut has a Pinto or a Ford GT40 they have something in common with all of us. They love cars. And as long as they are happy , so am I. The only folks I worry about are the parents of runaway children. Kids with candy, drinks or just plain wild who run down the sides with objects in their hands and parents don't care if they hit the cars. The kids don't know any better , they think the cars are big matchbox cars. I guarantee whoever is parked next to me, will hear me say more than once... Please don't touch the car...

Lord have mercy... so I called this place and dude didn't speak much English but he said $64 per night for one bed and $67 for two beds per night....

Um you sure this place is not a roach motel or something? I bet online price is cheper, I just don't have time at the moment to check it out.

I'll just reserve online Cole and get it cheaper. If that hotel is good with you then it's good with me. And then we'll be near some of the folks going

So I went to the site, found the very same hotel, we liked the price. Agreed to reserve it. I click submit, it takes me to the home page?
Did it do this for you?

    EDIT: It worked. Nevermind.

I got it to work man. Honestly, I've searched and searched for hotels and nothing just felt like THE place lol. Only the ones like right outside of Charlotte and like southeast Charlotte.

But we're stayin at the same place. Just got my reservation

If y'all are stating at the Super 8 on Sunset, you are about 2 miles from Alan's house, where we all clean cars and hang out.

Friday is clean cars at Alan's day, ESP. Those of us from out-of-state. Anyone needing directions/address, call me or Alan.

Should be a great weekend! Looking forward to meeting new people and seeing "the regulars".

My cell is (404) 316-0728......and yes, text works too.
