Every year 1,200+ cars pull into Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, a town of less than 2,700 people for a weekend full of car shows, burnouts, partying and other shenanigans. If you haven't been to Dells for Automotion, you don't know what you're missing. I've gone the past 4 years and haven't been disappointed yet.

I did the best burnout of anyone in town at Automotion 2016 in a rented Mustang GT. That parking lot will never be the same again...

Here's what others are saying about Automotion:

if any of you in the midwest-ish area, or wherever, want something fun a **** to do for a weekend in may...think about coming up to wisconsin for automotion. the actual car show is a classic car show, but there's other smaller shows that have popped up and it's basically a weekend of anything on wheels. i stand on the main drag in the dells and pound beer as cars cruise at all hours of the day and it usually first starts dying down at like 1-2am. it's a fantastic time to party with like minded individuals and see some awesome vehicles from all around the area.

i walk around the car shows on saturday during the day, but otherwise i'm usually standing on the side of the road getting wasted and watching everyone cruise. there's lots of people that do burnouts and getting pulled over and what not. the cops HATE that weekend.

Bring a chair, you'll need it.

Bring a couple coolers with wheels, you'll need them.

Bring walking shoes, because there is tons of cool **** to look at, so you'll need them too.

Bring a camera, because you'll want to video tape Spade puking before dinner because he's a lightweight.

Also, bring your fun. If you're a buzzkill, stay home. Or go to the Detroit Meet.

I drove 9 hours to the Dells. For sure worth it.

No one wants to see 200 Grand Prix's, and if you do...then more power to you.

Sounds boring to me. I like a little diversity.

I forgot I made that post.

I still agree with not looking at the same car all weekend.

BlueGuy, are you going to do a brewery tour run with me for 2017? It was pretty successful this year, except for the free beers that exploded in the trunk of the Mustang I rented. I think I hit 5 breweries and then went to the Harley Museum for bike night.

Probably going to New York for multiple games and such this year...following the Royals on the east coast.

Sooooo as of now, idk what's going on.

Count me in at 100% maybe.

    Equal for the most part.

You'll always see a few clicks here and there. Mainly the honda, butt touching subaru guys and mustang crowd together.
