The only differences are tire sizes... Does it matter?

Yes tire size does matter. I have the 05+ Saleen replica 18x9 wheels with a +30 offset. My car is not lowered and I ran 245/40-18 with no problems for a while, but my car looked like a monster truck because of the wheel gap. Now I'm on 255/45 -18s which look better as far as the wheel gap goes, but I had to have my rear fenders rolled because of rubbing issues. 265 and 275 widths might be a bit too wide on our cars, but maybe some of the other guys might want to chime in that.

But the year of the saleen wheels don't matter? Couldn't I put a 245 45 18 on any year saleen? Any pictures of your salsaleens?

Yes the year matters as far as style and color of wheel you want, but the bolt pattern that you want is 5x114.3. That's the bolt pattern that will fit our cars, and yes, 245 45 18 tires will fit on any year saleen that is a 18' wheel. The only thing is a 245 width tire works and looks best on a 9" width or smaller wheel. 245 on a 10" wide wheel will fit when it's stretched, but it ain't gonna look good. Yours are dope as ****. Selling them? Im curious on how you get the center caps? You think the 255/45 18x9 would fit the 02 stock suspension?

the 04 and older fitment have the offset that's numerically closer to our OEM rims. (38mm and 42 iirc)

those things certainly appear to be past the lip...im guessing you have craploads of room between the sidewall and the strut tube with the 30mm

Thanks, and no they ain't for sell lol. I had use magic to get the center caps on lol, no I just reversed the center caps from the inside that the wheels came with and then popped the OEM Pontiac ones in to them. And I think there's a few guys on the forum with 97-03s running saleens.

Yeah, they do stick out a bit. My tires were rubbing in the rear until I rolled my fenders, but there's not to room on the inside..... maybe an inch or so, which makes wonder if it possible to run a 10" wheel on our cars.

And the centercaps stay in the wheels that way?

They were a little loose, but a little bit of electrical tape fixed that. My plan is to cut and Dremel the OEM tabs and then Gorilla glue them to the center caps that came with the wheels one of these days when I'm not to lazy lol.

i know you're a super smart guy and all, but i think you're missing part of the equation: the wheel width.

at 9" wide with a +30mm offset you'll have a nearly identical inset (9mm closer to strut) from stock wheels, but it'll poke another 53mm.

    comparing 16x6.5 +52mm (225/60R16) to 18x9 +30mm (245/45R18):

    Diameter 676.4mm 677.7mm
    Circumference 2125mm 2129.1mm
    Poke 30.6mm 84.3mm
    Inset 134.6mm 144.3mm
    Speedo error 0% -0.19%
    Reading at 30mph 30mph 29.94mph
    Reading at 60mph 60mph 59.88mph
    Ride height gain 0mm 0.65mm
    Arch gap loss 0mm 0.65mm

Yes they lock in on both sides, inside and outside. The only issue was getting the OEMs to lock in.

Yeah Bio, willtheyfit.com was very helpful in knowing how they how they would set on the car. Everybody should go to that site before they buy wheels.

i've been using it more and more recently now that i've been trying to theoretically figure out what my car will fit without actually having a set of wheels to test fit.
