    Hey all,

I'm having difficulty finding a quality replacement front strut for my 08 Grand Prix GXP. I have searched the Delco site, several others. Delco has the loaded struts for an astronomical $400+ apiece. The others I have seen are not something I want to go through the expense and effort to install a low quality part without the related hardware. Any help would be awesome.

You might want to go with the AC Delco FE3 struts. They come on the 04-05 CompGs.
RockAuto has them for 31 for the rear(close-out private label) and 110 for front.

And they won't fit. Perch heights are different. FE1-3 are interchangeable, FE4 aren't.

I do appreciate you folks taking the time to reply. I have found the Delco units (FE4 front) on Amazon for $210 and some change, free shipping...I'll just have to use some of the old hardware, springs mostly and purchase the new strut mounts as well...next stop, Overkill muwaahhahah...

Go dieblo tune over overkill. Overkill is awesome at the 3800 and awesome with the 4t65e. But dieblo does better on the ls4

You are right, they would not fit. The FE4 suspension is a totally different deal. I did end up buying the Bilistien struts from amazon and they fit perfectly. Something i found to be odd about this front suspension is that there is no adjustment for caster or camber by elongated holes in the strut to knuckle mounts or elongated holes in the tower mount. I think this is cool as hell especially for being able to change the struts at home and having to get it aligned.
