Have an 04 GTP. Fixed the dreaded broken spring problem in the HUD on Saturday (by the way, only took about 1 hour with the great online instructions). But in the process, the plastic dash parts from end to end, that fit up against the windshield. broke into pieces...I guess the sunlight over the years made them brittle. Where can I purchase this plastic piece of the dash? It goes side to side across the car, including a square piece that covers the HUD.

    Thanks much.

Mines cracked in a couple of spots and once i fix the spring i know it'll be completely shot. So i was thinking if i was to plasti-dip the new trim (very light coat or 2) before installing, would that help to prevent it from cracking in the future?

    Doubt it..

Fiberglass the back or spread some jb weld all over the back side and grab one of those reflective things you stick in your windshield to help keep the heat out of the cabin
