I'm trying to find a snorkel for a 2004 Grand Prix GTP as the one I have is cracked and being held together by tape. Problem is I don't know the part number and the actual name of that part. Also where I might be able to buy this part and the approximate cost. I'm mechanically challenged. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanx,
    Greg

    Greg..

We have no clue what you mean by snorkel. Can you please take a picture and circle the part you need.

I'm guessing the air intake tube. The black tube going from the tb to the air box right?

Yes that's right. My mechanic called it a snorkel and said I could buy it at the GMC dealership, but when my son called them they said they don't stock that part so I was trying to look on the web, but can't seem to find anything with the word Snorkel. So I'm wondering what the actual part name and part number is. Is this tube connected to the Mass Air Flow part? Sorry I'm not too good with cars.

Just go to a junkyard and tell them you need the air intake tube off a 04 grand prix, I think they are the same for both sc and n/a.

That sure looks like the stock one that was on my '04 with no supercharger. So probably the same. Need to did mine out and sell it. I have been running a K&N intake since it was new.
