Hey husband went under the car to see why the muffler is making such a drone sound in the car. He found that the welds on the muffler are cracked. We wanted to know what we should look for in a quality set of mufflers that produce decent sound without sounding like a honda civic. Lol. Part numbers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone for any advice!

Magnaflows are nice. Id stay away from flowmaster the welds blow out. Dynomax are decent to. As long as you have a resonator, it won't be to loud.

Cool thanks. Have you heard anything about SLP's? Or do you know if those would be too loud for a daily driver?

I have SLPs without resonator and they are most likely louder than you want, even with a res.

I bought the quiet flow's from advance you can use the coupon codes and get like 40.00 off. You may have to buy a few things to take advantage of the best code.I couldn't even buy a cheap msl thru our shop for cheaper.

I have magnaflows on my GTP. I love the sound at idle. I have a bit of drone when cruising it's not bad. I don't have a resonator currently. I am thinking about adding one.

    Exhaust clip.

Interior, I have a wizaired CAI on it too.

The part number for the magnaflows I have is 11225

It's what I have, and few others on this forum too.

Borla's will sound the "best" on these cars, in my opinion, but are also the most expensive.

I love my Borla Pro XS's and wouldn't ever go with anything else. Sounds good, but I believe I paid roughly $68 a piece for them on eBay.

Dynomax have VT mufflers which have a valve in them that opens at high flow.

I will try next on my next exhaust.
