Fairly good price if it is indeed GM lenses. Although I can't figure out why they would charge more for one side than the other.

gm does that fairly often, usually due to certain parts being more popular ( passenger sides tend to get more damage than drivers)

That's what it is....In this case the drivers side is actually more expensive than the passenger side.

WOW some parts are pretty steep. I was looking at a rear quarter since mine has some minor damage and its over $500. Looks like I will be going with aftermarket replacement body parts.

minor damage on a rear quarter should be metal finished, why cut and weld and then metal finish when it's not necessary (quarters are welded on)?

Has anyone bought these before? Or even anything from this particular website? Also, it looks from the pictures like they include the side markers, what do you guys think?

I bought mine brand new from Ed Morad. His are not the GM ones, but they are exactly the same and come with a lifetime warrenty. Cost is about 100 bucks per side plus shipping.

If you go that route, make sure you put your old ones in the box the new ones came with and save them. If you ever have to ship them back to Ed, you will have a box to ship them and a headlight to use until your replacement comes in.

Too bad Ed doesn't offer this service anymore. I checked a few weeks ago and he no longer sells lifetime warranty headlights. Its too bad, i'd jumped on that.

Instead I found a really nice deal on Ebay.... eBay Motors: 1997-2003 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX Head Lamps RH LH 98 99 00 (item 260260025040 end time Jul-13-08 23:32:59 PDT)

$122 shipped to my door for the pair. The quailty is fantastic, I couldn't be any happier with them. I'm glad I found these. The seller is a cool guy, I had them in 2 days, i was surprised.

Hmmm... He is about 40 miles from my house. If you got them in two days, they should be quick for me. That's a good deal too. I'm in for a pair. Too bad he wasn't a little bit closer, maybe he would have done local pickup.

I was wandering, what is up with the three nipples on the 97-03 ones? Can I sand them off? That would make it easier to buff. But since I will be getting new ones, I guess it would not matter.

Has anyone installed the new projectors lights?
If my pics are not working, please email me, I may have moved the pics on a different page on Photobucket. Thanks

nipples are part of the mold or casting process. I would imagine that it would be where the plastic is injcted into a mold at. And yes a cupple people have installed them.

Bought my headlights with bulbs from Carolinas supply out of Charlotte for $51.45 ea, good quality units. I have their lights in my Silverado now that are 5 years old and still clear, the originals didn't last that long.

actually they are for an aiming machine that used the nipples as guide points

I too need new headlights. I just bought the car a few months ago and it looks great for a car its age but the headlights make it look terrible. I found 2 places on ebay for $104 and $109. One pair looks darker than the other though. Do you guys think it's just the angle of the pictures or is one darker than the other? They make smoked ones but they're like $50 more... anyway, here's the ones im going with:

eBay Motors: 97 98 99 Pontiac Grand Prix Headlight Headlamp PAIR SET (item 160275782903 end time Aug-31-08 07:07:33 PDT)

eBay Motors: 97-03 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX 0EM HEADLIGHTS + CORNER 4PCS (item 130250192668 end time Aug-31-08 20:19:04 PDT)

I think the first ones are Chrome and the second one's aren't, if you read the description on the first one it specifically says that where as to the second doesn't.
