I just bought my car, and the first thing I did was buy one of those spectre cone filters, anyway, I noticed when I took the airbox apart that the PCM sits in the bottom of the box, and it makes my filter sit funny and it looks goofy having half a black box just sitting there, my question is, is there a way to mount the PCM without having it sit in that box?

Easy answer to your question: YES, you can mount the PCM without the box.

Now, to get a little more complex,

This topic is a very very popular one, and you can find all the information you need by utilizing the "Search" function of this website.

First, decide what type of intake is for you: CAI (cold air intake) or FWI (fenderwell intake)

Secondly, decide if you want to DIY (Do it yourself) or buy a produced piece.

    Gook luck and happy modding!

there is another thread already asking for pictures of this kind of setup. most people ziptie the PCM to the frame, as there are convenient holes already in it

Depends on how picky you are. I personally would rather spend my money on other things. A 1 cent zip tie will suit me just fine.
