    i read the exaust thread and am undecided on wat to do..buy a cat back system or buy mufflers and muffler tips to make my 98' GT sound beter..

    i want a low rumble sound to my car..wat do u guys suggest i do?

    best I have herd were the borla pros. Just get the mufflers and tips. www.wickednicky.com has a good deal on them.

    just do mufflers. your not gunna gain any horsepower with ether one so why not make it sounds good for lease and use the other money for go fast parts

    has anybody tryed straight pipe? like no mufflers?

    Get a massive ****ing glasspack for your resonator and some mufflers you like the sound of.

    The whole idea of the "turbo" muffler is what you're probably looking for.

    Louder chambered muffs

    Daytona, any way you could get a vid, or at least audio.? I have this bad idea of srtaight pipes with some boom tubes for tips.(to try and get the rumble still) and then if I dont like it, I will install some sort of muffler where the resonator goes.

    i must warn you straight pipe is not for the faint of heart with this engine...lol. but im over my straight pipes i just wanted to have em for a while. honestly there is a good amount of drone but it doesnt bother me at all. you will hear alot of backfire occasionally. but once you go for headers and new downpipe itll prolly be much more overwhelming.
