SS doesn't mean Supercharged guys. I've seen plenty of Cobalt SS cars that still aren't that terribly nice. I'm still pretty sure the S/C Cobalt is coupe-manual only.

SS means Super Sport. And since when was even a Cobalt SS nice? They are all poorly crafted and horrible to drive...I know as I DD a LT Sedan.
SS cars were optioned with the supercharger until 2008 when the turbo models came out. Any of the boosted SS models, Coupe, OR Sedan were manual only as the automatic transmission was for the 2.2 Ecotec cars and the 2.4 High Output SS's.
woah, when did the 4-door SS happen? andm just for the record, i never said they were nice, i've never sat in one. just that they're all i pay attention too when it comes to cobalts lol. there's a guy in bowling green that has an xfe model with a ricer tip, two green neon tubes, a busted headlight, and the hubcaps taken off. just thought i'd share that fail. he thinks he's cool driving a car that's supposed to compete with the toyota prius. i see a ton of brand new cobalts though, SS and others. i guess some people still have money
i believe 09 was the first year for the SS sedan, and yes it is turbo. However, there are more sedans with just the SS package that aren't boosted, and I honestly don't get it. I do still think they're nice cars *for the price*
Nope, SS Sedan's were around in '07 still available with the supercharger...or the H.O. 2.4.
Yeah, those were a damned joke.
Mine is a '07 and there was the SS option for it package wise...so I cold have had one...but I didn't want something nice...because I was going to trash it on the daily anyways.
