I knew that. But that makes it all the more likely to have a supercharged version. The G6 though, that's pure V6 non-supercharged uniqueness.

No no, I had my brother with me and I can definetely tell the defference between a G5 and G6. It was a G5, it really caught my eye, but idk I never found anything about it, some people (Xceedspeed) say that it might have been cobalt ss parts on a G5, but I'm 110% sure it wasn't a cobalt. Idk I'm dillusional lol

Isn't the G6 GTP a supercharged engine? idk I just thought it would be?

THe S/C G5, my guess is it did have a Cobalt S/C on it or something similar anyways. Why did Pontiac even make the G5 though? It seems even less popular than the Cobalt. In my opinion Both cars are cool.

I was talking to SD, he mention the GXP appearance package, which is the G6.

And there is/was no G6 GTP, just a GXP. Still no S/C

My bad, I guess GTP just didn't stick with the G6 though.

That's a hell of a figure to throw out there.
89% of all statistics are made up on the spot, including this one.
But in reality? I see many more people going for SLP Gen 1. I prefer Gen 2, but the only car I've actually seen without a standard spoiler is the Ann. GP, and I've only ever seen 2, both relatively recently too.

the stock one doesn't look that bad really. i've read somewhere on here that if you take it off to clean underneath it you could put like thick rubber washers or spacers on the bolts and give the spoiler a higher profile

the one I linked, I didn't have any other views of it so I didn't know how it would look but I'm not really digging it any more. I if I get the special edition I'm looking at I don't think I will replace the spoiler, but I might do the idea mentioned above to the GP I have now.

Some cars are strict re-badges, this one has enough body changes to look unique from the Cobalt. Tail-lights are not quite the same, Pontiac front fascia, which looks totally different than the Cobalt, and I'm under the impression that the body on the G5 is a bit longer. I've driven both vehicles extensively so...

i don't even pay attention to the 4 door, it's SS or no attention at all haha. the cobalt and the g5 are about the closest two cars i've ever seen. they're hard to tell apart if you look at them from the side
