    Hey all,
I'm new to the whole Grand prix world. I'm having issues with my trany I will get into that later, but for now I have a line on a doner car for a new trans that I need to act fast on. I need help IDing what I have in my GTP and IDing the doner, where can I find tags, or plates to id the trans. Is there a code tag on the car some where? A PRO code?
Its a 94 GTP. I'm thnking it's a 4T65E maybe an HD? Any help would be great!!!!

My GTP has the bad trans, it's a 94. The one I'm thinking of for the swap is a 96 GT

the 4T65 was not available in NA cars until 98. Therefore both transmissions are 4T60's. Easy way to tell is if they both have vacuum modulators on the front of the trans.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
