Took the side cover off my 97 GT to replace the solenoids. (got a PO753 trouble code) Replaced the solenoids, then put the majority of everything back together. Started the car and no check engine light! But now, I can spin the transaxle with my hand and the shifter is in Park. (WTH???) I did have to remove the shift mechenism to take off the side cover though. Anybody have any ideas on what could be wrong? Any help would be appreciated!!!

It's in the air right? And you are saying you can spin a tire by hand, totally normal.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Yes, the car is still on jack stands. Your saying it's normal that I can spin the wheels while the car is in Park?

O.K. After putting the rest of the parts together (Rotor, brake caliper, wheels, etc) I lowered the car and no rolling! (So far so good) Started her up and put her in gear. She has life!!! Took her for a spin around the block and no problems. (at least with the Trans!) Thanks for the help!

p.s. Now my abs/parking brake light is on that I have to figure out!
