Hi, I have a '96 Monte Carlo Z34 with the 3.4 DOHC LQ1 V6 (Talk about a nightmare!!) Anywhoo, I have been experiencing a problem with my 4T60E shifting up into a higher gear at the worst times(hill climbs, easy takeoffs), even when I physically shift out of overdrive! It shifts perfectly under wide open throttle, but regular city and highway driving has become a pain in the ass and my fuel economy is suffering for it. My '90 Pontiac Grand Prix has the same exact tranny and doesn't have this issue...Please help!

It is in the tuning. I have remapped shift tables for it and can set u up with a nice tune while at it. I'll pm you for the info as I see this is a few months back.
