Re: PCM Capabilities?
drop box works again. its a share link now, so no one can fuk it up again.
tt is a editor, nothing more, dhp editor is much easier to use if you ask me. dhp shows stock values too. tt is good for killing the cat test if you need to, or swapping your trans gearing. other then that, i dont use it.

Re: PCM Capabilities?
Seems TT is able to make it a manual trans as DHP is not.
I really only need to remove evap, egr and second cat codes.
I found a bin for #42lb injectors as I have a set of those, but I can't seem to figure out how to make that info useful to me yet lol

Re: PCM Capabilities?
open dhp, go to file, then "open calibration file", find your saved bin file. then it opens for you, its a tree drop down program, rather simple.
codes are in the diagnostics folder. top folder find your code# set it to no report, then find the same code in the bottom folder, make it a 0 "zero" that codes gone.
injectors in the fuel folder, drop down to injectors iirc.

Re: PCM Capabilities?
Got everything figured out but the injectors.
I downloaded "42#Injector_97to2003_V6.bin" file the firs time around the links were posted. I can't seem to open it with either program, so it isn't a calibration file but just the map for bigger injectors?
Or do I need to import this file into my bin or am I missing something completely?

Re: PCM Capabilities?
being i got this crap written down, ill share the codes to delete.
delete any codes that fall between the numbers listed, some will not be there, like the #'s will skip some times. re o2 is like 3 codes, egr is 3 codes as well. cat is one.
the egr you also need to turn it off in the egr folder, change the value to -255. egr folder is in the accessory folder.
rear o2 codes
p0135 through po141
egr
p0401 through p0406
cat is p0420

Wow thanks Scotty you da man! I appreciate it!

Re: PCM Capabilities?
happy to help. theres a learning curve with operating it, you'll pick it up fast enough

Re: PCM Capabilities?
I'm sure once I can make sense of what I'm looking at it'll all fall into place. Just nice having this option without having to get a standalone or piggyback

Re: PCM Capabilities?
You will not need to make it "manual", all you need to do is remove all of the transmission related codes that come up after you get going with it... I can provide you some manual base files to look at for that stuff.
When tuning a car like this, you want to keep it simple, as you have not change all that much in the eyes of the ecu.
One concern with manual swaps is the idle control settings are much different, but usually if you have a speed sensor hooked up and calibrated correctly it will work fine without adjustments. I can advise you on how to solve issues if you have no VSS available.

Re: PCM Capabilities?
I was able to change the transmission type in tiny tuner to "Manual" other options being the 4L60 from the camaro or the 4T45/4T65 from the FWD platforms etc etc.
I was thinking stick with those settings until I get it up and running and see if I run into other issues then smooth them out as they come up. I saw I can adjust the desired RPMs if need be.
I should have a VSS hookup available and I did find the adjustments to calibrate it for my needs.
Eitherway I'll worry about other dtc's as they pop up. Need to finish the build first heh
