your setting it up wrong. im on win7 with dhp, used xp, and vista too. all work fine.

I had it installed before switching to windows 10, and it worked fine with windows 8, now that I have windows 10 it still works fine.

are you using 32 bit or 64 bit

I'm using 64 bit. I think Scottydoggs is using 32 bit

got it to work had to reinstall it for some reason. i am on windows 10 pro 64 bit

i am, cause i pulled my f ing hair out for two weeks trying to get it to work lol
and im on a 32 bit pos system still. but for a 25 dollar used lappy i use just for tuning its great.

Having a very hard time setting up DHP on windows 8. I NEED help. I downloaded the software from dropbox. and when I try and register my cable it says unable to communicate. this message comes up no matter what COM port i use or rate i use. or usb port i use. i need some advise. not sure if im doing somthing wrong.

your going to have to update the cable inorder to use it with 10. I got the same message but figured it out.
