When you import your scan log, what file type are you trying to import?

I imported it in a CSV file and the green maf table lit up. So I tried it again an the same error message popped up. And the new maf table CSV has 0 bytes for a file size. So I don't know what I'm doing wrong I followed everything to the t from blattners

your going to scantool then export logs and then save the log as a csv file in a folder on the desk top. the load the scan from eddies.

did you export the current maf file from the bin? then import it to eddies?

i save my scan, from DHP, then open it in eddies then import the bin maf file, then click export new maf file. save it, then go to the bin and right click the maf file and click import from file. and done.

Got it to work. Just needed that step by step instruction. I can officially save and import the new maf table. So do I just keep doing that after every scan? And when do I know enough is enough?

when you re flash the pcm click the clear fuel trims box, then you need to let the fuel trims learn takes about 30 to 50 miles of driving with a few restarts, your long fule trims will be all over for a bit then settle in. you goal is a 0.0 ltft at wot. and =5 to +5 tops when just driving around.

you may have to run eddies a few times to get them right.

dont scan to use eddied again till your sure the fuel trims are learned, or your new maf file wont be right.

you can also add your timing file from the bin and play with the timing.

So that is all I do and it will tune itself in pretty much? I will be driving a full day between scans which is about 60 miles with starts and stops

thats pretty much it. you can open the tab int he bin next to the file, its the stock settings, so you can see the changes made. most of the time they are small.

oh, of course your other goal is no KR with the 0.0 ltft at wot all the way to the top of the rpm range.

while the f/t's learn your sure to see some kr if you get on it, so take it easy while they learn.

Yeah I've noticed that. I have a aem uego wideband that is hooked through the egr that I will be using with uvscan. I also have an aeroforce to scan for kr and ignition advance. Thanks for all the help I just downloaded all those pdfs so I will be reading those in the next couple of days to learn more about how to use this stuff.

when you use your uv scanner does it give you different options to select for wideband gauges? the uv scanner I have isn't calculating the data correctly, I think because it doesn't know what the conversion is for my specific wideband, so if the uv scanner 3 has the innovate mtx-l preprogrammed, I probably need to use that version

Yeah it gives u lc1 and a couple others. I just datalog thought the egr port using the mod someone did so it logs correctly. If u search wideband egr it should pop up the thread on how to do that. It was easy just follow the steps

I thought I heard that. I'm on my way down the line to end at a 3.0 pulley so I know I will need it so I just did it right away

do you know if it gives the mtx l option? my dhp has the analog inputs, so no egr wiring is necessary

I did some research and found out the MTX-L is the same as the LC-1, just newer. The UV scan data logger I'm using has a direct input for the LC-1 using the serial/usb output of the gauge and it looks like a close match.

It's really sad hp tuner doesn't have that option yet.
