I used the dhp tire sheet to recalibrate my speedometer on my 04 comp g.

I went from 23430 pulses per mile to 24400 pulses.

Now every time I set my cruise control it will work for a random amount of time and then automatically shut off.

    How do i fix this?

last time I had a cruise control problem I went to the dealership and they adjusted something on the cruise control because it was out of tolerance. not sure what they adjusted, but its worked great since. my car is a 2001, so I'm not sure if yours is setup the same way.
