id just drive it for a day or so. then rescan and work eddies again. mine never seems to learn in a 30 miles drive. takes a day or so to really learn and settle in.

If you can't get the trims to settle.. you may not be completing enough drive cycle etc to stabilize the trims before you start scanning to do more adjusting. Plus weather can factor into it a lot. Starting out on a cool morning and then scanning during a hot day, that will change things up. As well, you should never scan etc for fuel trims with AC on. Suffering on a hot day is the way it's done.
How I did mine...start vehicle and let idle for approximately 2 minutes...drove for about 5 miles below 35 mph with varying starts and stops below like 3000 rpm, drive for about 10 miles around 55-65 mph with gradual deceleration and mild acceleration...repeat 35 mph portion...sit idling in driveway for 2 minutes...review scan...tweak tune...repeat.
