we have all been upping our horsepower and torque levels by huge numbers. most people make about 500 hp with hp tuners because that is the happy spot for the transmission

Some** power can be gained. But not much tuning the pcm when you add parts is what optimizes the power making but In general terms mechanical parts make the power

Under the engine section, there are a few options. But, you want to pick the last one, which reads horsepower. Once opening the tab, you will see one box you can change. For a 97-03 GTP, you will see "240" entered into it. Change it to whatever horsepower you'd like.

Under the transmission, again, go to the last tab, labeled torque. Same drill. Change the stock "280" to whatever you'd like.

Tuning is really easy once you figure this out.

Go into the high and low octane timing tables. Change every cell to 30. Your horsepower will be 10 times that, as the number means a tenth of the HP the car produces at that level. If you really wanna feel extra power, pay attention to the cells at the far and bottom right of the table. Change them to 45.

might as well just change all the timing table cells to 45

So im thinking if someone actually did this wouldn't it exceed the max knock aloud by the pcm and go into security and automaticly shutoff if it didn't blow up when it reached, what is it like 15 *?

I don't think there is a "Max" KR... plus doing that adds a load of power? Jeeze, didn't you know. I run like 50 in the bottom right cells. Woo! got like 600wHP
