now what? lol time to read a tuning guide now. Jerrys is pretty good. i just figured out how to use eddie's table modifier thingy. only working the maf for now. makes it pretty easy. most say not to bother ve tuning, so im not wasting the gas on it.

Maf tuning is sorta a waste too, trim maintenance is not really going to get you anywhere unless you are fixing a mechanical problem with your MAF or motor.

Personally.. I think not having the inputs on the side are a mistake. Reading their info on the 852

    • 3 channels of analog to digital input (installed on request).
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

wide band for tuning is one. idk what else you could do. but a wide band is highly recommend.

I've used it to log wide band O2 like Scott said, and a post charger/post IC temp sensor. Little stuff like that helps you to see the true correlation between say long runs and your post IC temps vs engine performance etc. Also helps see if your IC is keeping up or not.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Hey guys gtp owner using Hptuners and the tiny on my 2000 gtp have been trying to figure out how to get my dhp software to work so I can pull bin file. What avt works 852 as I have been working on adding tables to Eddie thingy. And would like to help out. run full open loop tune and ve seems to work for me and tuning with maf connected. Other thing I did change was my default air table just logged an average and remaped the default air table by hand seemed to level everything out. Was just going to buy an 852 but if someone knows it works then I'm Ordering.

I think this product is going to be a big deal in the community. Maybe a formal how-to and a sticky is in order, if anyone is up to the task.

Apparently we can do whatever we want and never adjust the tune because it's not necessary

you dont need to register it. its free. tell the guys at the avt box place its to be used for dhp. they will set it up to work.

you need to register the cable tho, but thats only a term used for syncing up your pc to the avt box and dhp.

Hey guys, I plan on buying an AVT Box very soon, and I was just wondering if it has any limitations that other tuners will be able to do. Also, I have spare keyfobs, and I was wondering if you can program them with the software or if that can only be done with Tech II scanners.

Also, how can I figure out what other vehicles I can play with using this box?

    Thanks!
